What a wonderful gift for Amy to give her Mum for her birthday - a gift voucher for a Makeover and Photoshoot for 2.
We met Liz and Amy at our studio for their pre-photoshoot consultation, 2/3 weeks before their special day.
Designing your professional portraits and chatting about what you would love to wear and how to prepare for your makeover photoshoot session, is all part of our fabulous customer experience.
Amy loved the idea of capturing some soft and sensual photographs, celebrating how beautiful she feels right now.
Mum asked for beautiful portraits of her and Amy, that were fun and would capture the fabulous mother and daughter relationship they have.
On photoshoot day both ladies arrived with clean dry hair and cleansed and moisturised faces and were ready to begin.
Charlie and I put the final touches to planning their photoshoot while they were having a wonderful makeover with Zoe.
I have to admit Amy's hair is gorgeous, I am a little envious, just look at her amazing waves and curls.
Amy had her sensual boudoir photoshoot first, the white sheet bed shots are a real favourite with lots of our ladies. We love how bright and contemporary they are for boudoir style portraits. Less is often so much more, and the hint of nudity implied is very appealing to our customers and admired by their partners.
Liz joined us after her makeover and oh my goodness both women looked amazing in their photographs.
We had so much fun! Mum brought along some Prosecco and our laughter filled the studio. Charlie and I really enjoyed creating portraits with these amazing ladies.
When they visited us for their Reveal Viewing Session we knew we had done our job well, both Liz and Amy's husbands came along to help them decide which portraits to purchase and they found it a challenge to choose their favourites.
There were so many gorgeous photographs of them both.
Liz's favourite portrait was the ABBA Style, back to back portrait that we re-created, they had such a giggle with this one.
Liz's husband Steve absolutely loved this portrait.
Amy's husband Gary and in fact everyone, especially Amy, loved this soft feminine portrait. It's one of our favourites from their shoot too.
Amy loved this portrait of her Mum too.
Liz and Amy will have gorgeous portraits they love to share with their family for generations to come. Existing in photographs for the people you love is so important right now and priceless in the future.
